As Brazil and Uruguay learned today, all good things must come to an end.  Today we head back to Sonoma County after a fun stay in Oregon (mainly the Bend area with a day trip to Portland).

Oregon was good to us but we look forward to enjoying the rest of the World Cup in Sonoma County unless that gofundme account for a flight to Russia picks up a bit.

With a bit of advanced planning and prioritizing, we managed to watch all of the games during our stay, whether that be in the car, at our place, at the gym or in local spots.  The highlight was catching England’s win over Colombia at 4-4-2 in Portland.  Sally, Gabby and I enjoyed watching with a huge group of spirited Colombian fans and a smaller but much happier group of England fans.
