Yesterday we hit 1500 kilometers (almost 1,000 miles) in the car.  We have been circling northern France, visiting cities, stadiums, sights, and clubs.  The French countryside is beautiful.

I expect by the time I return to the airport we will have traveled over 2,000 kilometers in the car, another 8500 kilometers in the air, and 300 kilometers on trains, buses, metro, etc.

A few people have been surprised by this, but I am here to experience and learn about soccer and you don’t sitting in Paris.  We have seen plenty of amazing sights, but the games and club visits have driven our itinerary.  Here are a few photos from our road trip outside of the main cities.
